What does the Docketbriar scan check?

Docketbriar’s focused first-pass scan checks six signals on one submitted public website: page title, document language, image alt text, heading order, form labels, and link or button names. It follows same-origin HTML pages within bounded crawl limits. The scan is intentionally limited to the submitted site and these checks; it does not inspect private areas.

What is included in the report?

The report includes the scan date, normalized site URL, pages scanned, total issues, high- and medium-severity totals, all six category counts, affected pages, plain-English explanations, remediation guidance, and original issue details or selectors when available. A clean result reports zero issues for the selected checks.

How does remediation tracking work?

After a completed anonymous scan, sign in or create a workspace to save and claim the findings. For each finding, your firm can set Identified, In progress, Ready for verification, or Verified; assign a responsible owner; save notes; and record a verification date. Docketbriar records the workflow, while your firm or web provider makes and confirms the website changes.

Does a clean scan mean our website is compliant?

Accepted Answer

No. A clean result means that the selected checks found zero issues in the pages scanned. It is a focused automated first pass, not a WCAG conformance verdict, legal conclusion, certification, or complete accessibility audit.
